In this 109 page guidebook, we will be exploring our own connection and relationship to beauty over a three week period of time. Through knowledge sharing, self-inquiry practices and guided visual meditations with jasmine, rose and osmanthus that all center around the use of ritual, we can start to begin to cultivate and look at our own unique relationship with beauty. Understanding and exploring our relationship to beauty enters through varying intersections of identity (race, class, gender, sexual orientation, disability, beauty standards, etc.), how it affects how we relate or not relate to beauty and how we unravel reclaiming our beauty narrative for ourselves.
This guide can be utilized as a self-practice to do at anytime of the year, as a seasonal practice or to come back to whenever you feel called. It also can be something you do together in community with one or several people you trust to go through the contents of the pages together to witness each other and the wisdom that is cultivated through sharing and holding one another in your own inner explorations of how each of you define beauty, your relationship to it and how it may shift as you go through these 21 days.
