Meeting in the Liminal Space

This is a monthly gathering focusing on creative writing, storytelling and ritual for those navigating chronic illness to come together to connect, create and process their experiences of living with a chronic illness. Through the tools of creative writing, verbal and written storytelling and ritual, it can help root and reclaim our narratives and stories for oneself.

The liminal space is the space between spaces and is one of the three components of ritual (separation, liminal space and integration) and it is through this space that we can process aspects of ourselves outside of chronological time and it can be a place of profound healing especially when utilized with the other two aspects of ritual.

Ritual can be a powerful piece of healing our mental, emotional, spiritual and physical bodies and when we are in the presence of other people in a group setting that it is supportive, it can allow space for the container to be seen and witnessed in profound ways.

This monthly offering is for those who find writing, storytelling and ritual supportive modalities or for those who are interested in learning how these modalities can be supportive for them.
