About the event
2025 ushered in the year of the Yin Wood Snake. The snake’s associated organ system is the Spleen which houses the spirit of the Yi 意, representing the Earth element.
The Yi 意 represents our focus, intention, thought and creativity. The ability to direct our focus is the gift of the Yi and understanding how our thoughts and intentions have been influenced by external and internal factors throughout our lives have an impact in how we move throughout our lives.
In this workshop, we delve into understanding what the Yi is, how we relate to our Yi and practical ways of engaging the Yi to support our minds in directing our lives in the ways that restore internal autonomy and move in a path that is supportive for ourselves and the collective.
